Refund policy

In short

Unused escrow returns to the brand. Kill fees apply only after the creator has visually signed. Creator cancel and cancel while the creator has not signed are full refunds to the brand.

Unused escrow

Escrow is a ceiling. Creators are paid what verified delivery earned under the deal conditions. Unused escrow returns to the brand wallet unless the brand forgoes that refund on Release. See the settlement guide.

Deal cancellation

These are the rules the product applies today (operators can change the percentages in platform settings; existing deals keep the snapshot taken at accept):

  • Brand cancels while the creator has not visually signed the agreement: full escrow refund, kill fee 0.
  • Brand cancels within 24 hours of accept, after the creator has signed: full refund, kill fee 0.
  • Brand cancels after that 24-hour window (or while the deal is live / verifying): 10% of the agreed amount to the creator as a kill fee; the rest refunds to the brand.
  • Brand cancels while content is in review: 25% of the agreed amount to the creator as a kill fee; the rest refunds to the brand.
  • Creator cancels: full refund to the brand, kill fee 0.

Disputes

An open dispute freezes escrow. The split follows the dispute policy, not this page.

Wallet top-ups

Top-ups credit the brand or creator wallet through our payment partner. We do not run an informal goodwill refund desk. Chargebacks and payment-partner reversals follow that partner's process.
