Where to start

  • Deal interviews - open a deal room and use Video interview (available from invite through verifying).
  • Team / manager rooms - Meetings hub for brand team syncs or creator manager calls (after you sign in).
  • Support - staff can start support or dispute video from admin queues; parties join from their invite.

In the call

  • Lobby - pick camera, mic, and speaker before you join.
  • Present layout - when someone shares, the shared screen stays center stage; cameras move to the side (desktop) or bottom (mobile). Press G for gallery grid.
  • Document picture-in-picture - float the call while browsing. The window shows the share stage, participants, mute / camera / share / reactions / leave, and Back to meeting tab.
  • Recording - local WebM download with a visible “Recording in progress” banner. Leaving mid-record hands off to someone still in the room when possible.
  • Leave vs End for all - Leave exits you; if the room is empty the meeting ends. End for all is host-only.
  • Shortcuts - M mute · V video · S share · R hand · E react · C chat · D devices · P people · G gallery · Esc.

FAQ

Who pays for a meeting?
The host pays for a Video meetings monthly unlock once per UTC calendar month to initiate. Guests join free. A premium unlock removes the 1-hour hard cap for that month. Admin support and dispute rooms do not consume credits.
What is the difference between Leave and End for all?
Leave disconnects only you. If you were the last person in the LiveKit room, the meeting ends automatically. End for all is host-only and disconnects everyone immediately.
How does screen share look?
While someone shares, present layout puts the shared screen in the center stage and cameras in a side strip (desktop) or bottom strip (mobile). Press G for an equal gallery grid. Starting a share leaves gallery mode so the share stays visible.
What does picture-in-picture show?
On Chrome, Document PiP opens a floating window with the share stage, a participant strip, mute, camera, share, reactions, leave, and Back to meeting tab (focuses the meeting tab and closes PiP). If Document PiP is unavailable, the browser may use classic video PiP instead.
What happens if I leave while recording?
Recording is local WebM on your device. If others are still in the call, recording hands off to another participant and you keep your segment download. If you are alone, the segment saves and leaving ends the call.
