What production engagements are

Production engagements let brands order creator content - raw video, thumbnails, edits, and other file-only deliverables - with escrow held until the brand approves files in the deal room. Creators do not need to post on social unless you add a post deliverable.

Distribution campaigns (posts, tracked links, placement verification) live under Campaigns. Creator content has its own sidebar area for file-only production orders.

For brands

File-only creator content (no social post required)

1. Open Creator content in the sidebar or command palette (production engagements must be enabled on your workspace).
2. Write the creative direction, pick file-only deliverables (asset type and quantity), set escrow, and publish or invite creators.
3. Creators upload to the deal room file vault. You preview in-browser; full downloads unlock after escrow releases.
4. Approve files to trigger settlement. Optional paid amplification adds a rights fee line.

Content library

Index approved production files from completed deals. Track rights expiry and notify creators if you reuse an asset outside the original licence. Enable the ugcLibrary feature flag after dogfood.

Always-on creator content

FAQ

Do creators need connected socials for creator content orders?

No, when every deliverable is file-only. Open creator content allows creators with zero platforms for production orders.

When does escrow release?

After brand approval of submitted files (or auto-release after the production review window if configured). Distribution post verification rules do not apply to file-only deliverables.

Is this the same as a distribution campaign?

No. Distribution campaigns require platforms, tracked links, and placement verification. Production mode is for creative files and optional whitelisting rights fees.
