Home currency and wallets

  • Confirm country and default currency during onboarding (or in profile settings before your first credit).
  • After the first wallet credit, default currency locks. Subscriptions, credit packs, and checkout use that billing currency.
  • Open extra wallets from the wallet currency picker in the app when you run campaigns or earn in another rail.

Campaign and deal currency

Brands pick a currency when publishing a campaign or creator content order. Escrow, offers, and settlement stay on that rail for the whole deal. Creators credit the matching wallet when funds release - see the settlement guide for the release timeline.

Creators choose which deal currencies they accept in money preferences. Your home currency is always on; add other rails if you want cross-border work.

Funding your wallet

Top up with card, bank transfer, or mobile money in your wallet currency. NGN wallets can use a dedicated virtual account for bank transfers.

Metered product actions spend credits, not wallet cash. Plan allowances and packs are priced in your billing currency on the live catalogue.

Withdrawing - same currency or convert to home

When you withdraw, pick how funds should leave the platform. The wallet screen shows both options when your balance currency differs from home or when you hold USD, EUR, or GBP.

Same currency
Pay out to a verified bank or mobile-money account in the wallet currency. No conversion. You need a payout method in that currency.
Convert to home
Convert from the wallet balance to your home currency and send to your home bank account. The app shows a live quote (rate, fees, and destination amount) before you confirm.

Brand withdraw rules

Brands withdraw unused wallet balance from the home-currency wallet or from USD, EUR, and GBP balances when enabled. Other open wallets are for funding campaigns in local currencies - move value by withdrawing from home or a USD/EUR/GBP wallet, not by mixing escrow currencies mid-campaign.

FAQ

When does my default currency lock?
On the first successful wallet credit (top-up, dedicated bank transfer, or similar). Until then you can confirm country and default currency during onboarding. After lock, billing, subscriptions, and new credit-pack checkout use that currency.
Can I hold more than one currency?
Yes. Open additional currency wallets from the wallet picker. Each open balance shows available, escrow, and pending-out amounts for that currency. Campaigns and creator content debit the wallet that matches the campaign currency.
Does escrow convert currencies when a deal completes?
No. Settlement credits the creator in the deal currency. Brands are debited and refunded in the same currency they funded. Conversion only appears when you choose convert-to-home on withdraw.
What are my options when I withdraw?
Same currency sends to a payout account in the wallet you are withdrawing from - no conversion. Convert to home changes your balance to your home currency and pays a home-currency bank account. The conversion rate is shown when you confirm; refresh if the quote expires.
Which brand wallets can I withdraw unused funds from?
Your home-currency wallet plus USD, EUR, and GBP balances when those currencies are enabled. Other wallets (for example GHS or KES used for local campaigns) are for campaign spend - withdraw from home or a USD/EUR/GBP wallet instead.
How do creators accept deals in foreign currencies?
Set accepted deal currencies in money preferences. Brands only see you for campaigns in currencies you accept. Your home currency is always included. Rate-card currency controls how listed prices appear to brands.
How do I fund my wallet?
Use Fund wallet in the app: card, bank transfer, or mobile money depending on your currency. NGN workspaces can request a dedicated Nigerian bank account for inbound transfers. Checkout shows the live minimum and fee breakdown before you pay.
Why is my withdraw quote different from an estimate?
Conversion quotes are live at confirm time. Rates can move between opening the withdraw sheet and tapping confirm. If the quote expires, refresh and confirm again - the amount debited matches the quote you accept.
