Connect YouTube

Why we need Google / YouTube access

PactReach is an escrow-backed marketplace for brand and creator campaigns. Campaign funds stay held until we verify delivery. Creators who work YouTube deals can connect Google so we can confirm channel ownership and read public channel and video metrics needed for matching and settlement.

What we access

Scope: youtube.readonly. Public identity and counters only.

• Verify channel ownership. Confirm the Google account owns the YouTube channel used for brand deals, so placements attach to the right creator.
• Public channel metrics. Read public subscriber and video counts so brands can judge campaign fit on discover and invites.
• Public video stats for delivery. On posts you submit for verification, read public views, likes, and comments so escrow can settle on measured delivery.

What we do not do

• We request youtube.readonly only. We do not ask for YouTube Analytics, upload, or manage-channel scopes.
• We never upload, edit, delete, or manage your videos or channel settings.
• We do not sell personal data. Audience figures shown to brands stay aggregated, never individual viewer records.

Optional Sign in with Google is separate: it only helps create or access your PactReach account (name and email). Connecting YouTube still requires the read-only channel consent above. Data practices are also in our Privacy policy.

Setup steps

1. Open Connect YouTube

   From Creator Socials or onboarding, tap Connect YouTube. Google opens in your browser. Choose the Google account that owns the YouTube channel you post on.

2. Approve read-only access

   Confirm the youtube.readonly permission for that Google account. We never request Analytics, upload, or manage-channel scopes.

3. Return to PactReach

   Your channel appears on Socials. Disconnect anytime. Reconnect if Google revokes access.

Connect Instagram

Why Instagram Login

PactReach connects Instagram with Instagram Login (Business Login for Instagram). You sign in on instagram.com. The account must be Professional (Business or Creator). A Facebook Page is not required.

Redirect URI: /creator/oauth/instagram/callback. That path is registered on the dedicated Instagram app, not the Facebook Page app.

Setup steps

1. Switch Instagram to Professional

   Open Instagram → Settings and activity → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account → choose Business or Creator. Personal accounts cannot connect.

2. Connect Instagram in PactReach

   Return to PactReach → Connect Instagram and approve Instagram Login when prompted. Sign-in opens on instagram.com.

3. Retry if connect fails

   Confirm the account is Professional (Business or Creator), then try Connect Instagram again.

If connect fails

Errors about a missing Instagram Professional account mean the login was not a Business or Creator account. Switch the account to Professional, then retry Connect Instagram from Socials. The in-app error highlights the step that failed.

Connect Facebook Page

Facebook connect is a Facebook Page you admin. Meta Strict Mode uses a dedicated redirect URI (/creator/oauth/facebook/callback), not the Instagram callback. Instagram Professional and an IG↔Page link are not required.

Setup steps

1. Create or claim a Facebook Page

   Create a Page at facebook.com/pages/create or in Meta Business Suite. You must be an admin of the Page. A personal profile is not enough.

2. Connect Facebook in PactReach

   Return to PactReach → Connect Facebook and approve Page access when Facebook Login prompts you.

3. Retry if connect fails

   Confirm you logged into the Facebook account that admins the Page, then try Connect Facebook again. Instagram Professional is not required for Facebook.

If connect fails

A missing Facebook Page means Meta could not see a Page you admin on that Facebook login. Create or claim a Page, then retry Connect Facebook from Socials. Do not follow the Instagram Professional checklist for this platform.

Connect Threads

Threads connects with Threads Login, which is separate from Instagram and Facebook Login. We request threads_basic and threads_manage_insights so we can confirm the account you post on and read public profile metrics for matching. Threads likes and replies may appear on a submitted post, but they do not settle CPV. Settlement uses PactReach tracked links for CPC, not Threads impressions.

Setup steps

1. Open Connect Threads

   From Creator Socials, tap Threads. Threads Login opens in your browser. Choose the account that owns the handle you post on.

2. Approve access

   Confirm threads_basic and threads_manage_insights. We do not ask to post, message, or manage your profile.

3. Return to PactReach

   Your handle appears on Socials. Disconnect anytime. Reconnect if Meta revokes access.

What we look at

• Public username, profile URL, and follower or post counts the API returns.
• On posts you submit, likes and replies if the API returns them. Those figures do not settle CPV.
• Post URLs you submit later must be on threads.net or threads.com and match the connected username.

What we do not do

• We do not read DMs, private posts, or follower lists beyond public profile metrics.
• We do not post, edit, or delete Threads content.
• We do not settle CPV on Threads impressions. Escrow for Threads deals uses PactReach tracked links where the pricing model needs a click.

Connect Snapchat

Snapchat connects with Snapchat Login Kit. We request user.display_name and user.external_id so we can confirm the account used for brand deals. Settlement uses PactReach tracked links, not Snapchat post impressions.

Setup steps

1. Open Connect Snapchat

   From Creator Socials, tap Snapchat. Snapchat Login opens in your browser. Sign in with the account you post on.

2. Approve access

   Confirm the display-name permission. We do not ask to read private Snaps, chats, or to post on your behalf.

3. Return to PactReach

   Your account appears on Socials. Disconnect anytime. Reconnect if Snapchat revokes access.

What we look at

• Display name and the Snapchat user id Login Kit returns.
• Public profile URL we store so brands can see the connected account.
• Post URLs you submit later must be on snapchat.com and match that account.

What we do not do

• We do not read private Snaps, chats, or non-public profile fields.
• We do not post, edit, or delete Snapchat content.
• Snapchat does not expose post impressions to this connect path. Escrow uses PactReach tracked links.

Connect LinkedIn

LinkedIn connects with Sign In with LinkedIn and Share. We confirm the profile used for brand deals. Settlement uses PactReach tracked links for CPC and flat fees, not LinkedIn impressions. CPV and CPE are not offered.

Setup steps

1. Open Connect LinkedIn

   From Creator Socials, tap LinkedIn. LinkedIn opens in your browser. Sign in with the profile you post on.

2. Approve access

   Confirm Sign In and Share. We do not ask for Community Management, messaging, or company-page admin.

3. Return to PactReach

   Your profile appears on Socials. Disconnect anytime. Reconnect if LinkedIn revokes access.

What we look at

• Public name, headline, and profile URL so brands can open the profile themselves.
• Post URLs you submit later must be on linkedin.com and match the connected profile.

What we do not do

• We do not receive personal follower counts from LinkedIn. Brands should open your LinkedIn profile if they need that audience. LinkedIn follower counts are never a campaign or Discover filter.
• We do not scrape LinkedIn, and we do not treat connections as followers.
• We do not post, edit, or delete LinkedIn content.
• We do not settle CPV on LinkedIn impressions. Escrow for LinkedIn deals uses PactReach tracked links where the pricing model needs a click.
